Without donations it’s not possible to provide sustainable health care solutions to rural communities in Zambia. Your support can help improve access to medicines, provide health education and train community members to provide basic care.

On Call Africa Community

Here is how your money can make a difference:

£15 provides a volunteer doctor in a rural health facility for one day. Supporting delivery of essential health services, and contributing to quality improvement of health facilities

£25 provides one day of residential training for a Community Health Worker

£35 funds a bed for an expectant mother to sleep on in the days prior to her due date

£150 would provide a buffalo bike enabling a Community Health Worker to carry out home visits in sparsely populated communities

Fundraise with friends

There are lots of ways to raise money as a group, whilst having a lot of fun!

  • Host a coffee morning, quiz night or art showing.
  • Set up a Facebook fundraiser to ask for donations to On Call Africa – you could do this in lieu of birthday presents or other special occasions.
  • Feeling energetic? Enter a half marathon as a group and ask friends and family for sponsorship.
