What’s your role?

Logistics Officer

What made you decide to work for On Call Africa?

I got attracted to what On Call Africa does, that’s to improve access to, and quality rural healthcare provision. That has been and is my dream come true finding myself working with On Call Africa in living my dream.

What were you doing before you joined On Call Africa?

I was working as a Driver for the Zambia International Airports Cooperation

Why should someone give up their time to volunteer for On Call Africa?

On Call Africa is a place where all healthcare providers have unlimited growth, wider experience working in remote rural, taking the pride in adding a big difference to one or two rural individuals, communities and facilities for a better and improved healthcare service like never before.

What’s your biggest challenge for the year ahead?

I am excited and keen to drive to and camp in all the sites where On Call Africa is working from. I am also working hard to enrol for my Diploma in Community Development.

Tell me something about you that no one else knows…

Trust me it’s too private and personal, telling it to you  would be a serious breach to my code of secrecy.

Have you got any tips on Zambia for future volunteers?
  • Zambia is ranked 4th most peaceful African Country. So peaceful and tranquil.
  • Our people are very friendly, accommodative and loving. Full of heartfelt smiles.
  • Our foods are natural and organic, locally grown and well easy to prepare, some are seasonal and others are easy to grow.
  • Our weather is favourable, nice breeze, hosting one of the World’s 7 wonders the Mighty Victoria Falls, exploding it’s mightiness right in Livingstone City which is On Call Africa’s home, Zambia Head Office.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

I love reading books, having quality time with my family.

Why should we support On Call Africa?

Because it’s one of a few organisations in Zambia that are keen to providing quality and improved healthcare to rural individuals, facilities and  aiming at complimenting Government’s effort in providing better and quality healthcare to every Zambian citizen.

On Call Africa, needs a continuous support to it’s effort, aims, policies and achievements.
